A Magical Milestone for Languages United at the BETA Youth Travel Awards

In November, Languages United had the honour of being named a finalist in the prestigious BETA Youth Travel Awards in the Best Educational Provider category. Out of a highly competitive field, we were delighted to receive the Highly Commended award, a testament to our dedication to delivering exceptional learning experiences for international students.

The BETA Youth Travel Awards, hosted by the British Educational Travel Association (BETA), celebrate excellence and innovation in the youth, student, and educational travel sectors. Each year, the awards recognise organisations that excel in providing meaningful experiences, showcasing best practices, and contributing positively to the global travel and education industries. Being a finalist in this space was a tremendous achievement for our team.

The awards ceremony took place in the magical setting of Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter, a venue that added a touch of wonder and enchantment to the evening. Surrounded by the iconic sets, props, and costumes from the beloved Harry Potter films, attendees enjoyed an atmosphere of creativity and inspiration—qualities that resonate deeply with our ethos at Languages United. The event was impeccably organised, with plenty of networking opportunities with industry representatives and finalists who share this passion for building connections and opportunities for young learners worldwide.

At Languages United, our mission has always been to create a nurturing and engaging environment where students can not only learn English but also gain confidence, independence, and cultural understanding. Over the years, we’ve evolved from a family-run school welcoming a handful of students to an internationally recognised provider offering diverse programmes, including bespoke language retreats, summer schools, and career-focused PCTO courses. Our innovative approach to combining language learning with cultural immersion has set us apart in the field.

This recognition at the BETA Youth Travel Awards is a testament to the hard work of our entire team, from our educators to our homestay providers, and the incredible students who inspire us every day. It reflects the principles we hold dear: quality, care, and a personalised approach to education.
