Cork English College has once again been named “Best Language School” at the Irish Education Awards making it a hat-trick of wins since 2019, on what was a fantastic night for education in Cork with UCC & MTU also picking up awards.
The Education Awards celebrate quality, innovation & excellence in the Irish Education Industry with judges scoring institutes on their background, academic and professional qualification of staff members, courses and services provided, and the relevant industry experience, achievements and accreditations on offer.
Competition was stiff with well respected schools in Galway & Dublin such as Bridge Mills & Linguaviva (both QE schools as well) also entered, but CEC were thrilled to take the accolade back to Cork for a record third year in succession. This prestigious award is a testament to the incredible dedication of the CEC team over what has been a challenging and unprecedented year.
Founded in 1978 and still to this day a family run business, in 43 years CEC has welcomed over 65,000 international adult & junior students to Cork. More recently CEC have embraced the online world, developing high quality and innovative online virtual programmes for adult & junior learners alike.
Commenting on the award, director Marc Cullen had this to say; “We are absolutely thrilled to have been named Best Language School again this week. We are extremely proud of the independent recognition we’ve received. Knowing first hand the quality of many of our colleagues in the industry, to win for a third year running is quite a surprise & certainly an honour. This award reflects the hard work, professionalism and dedication to quality that has enabled CEC to go from strength to strength over the past 43 years and into the future.”
