We're delighted to announce that BEET Language Centre will be reopening on September 14th, hurrah! Whilst we're hugely excited about welcoming our students back to school, we're also continuing to offer our courses online for the foreseeable future. Our sister school ITTC will also be offering the Online Teacher Refresher Course (OTRC) and both the Part & Full-Time CELTA courses online until further notice.
Here’s what we’re doing to keep everyone safe: Hand sanitiser throughout the main building and in all classrooms, & plenty of signs to remind everyone to use it! Everyone keeps 1m apart, this is easy to do in class because we have big classrooms with plenty of space. Each student has their own desk space and course book as standard. We have a staggered timetable to give everyone plenty of room in their break time, and our students and teachers form bubbles to keep separate from others. Classrooms are cleaned and sanitised at the end of each day, with surfaces and touch points being cleaned throughout the day.
There will be the usual friendly welcome from Reception and Accommodation staff, but with screens in place. We have two staircases which makes it easy to operate a one way system – there’s clear signage and tape marking which way to walk. The BEET building is well ventilated, and we will be encouraging students to use the outdoor area for breaks where the weather allows.
Naturally, we are keeping up-to-date with government guidelines, and we will make any further changes as and when they are recommended.
