Bels Malta have launched a fresh, new website that reflects the experience students can expect when studying at one their English schools in Malta, Gozo or online. Here you can find photos of the schools, as well as information regarding the locations, courses, accommodation options and auxiliary services. All the content is available in a variety of languages.
Prospective students or agents can plan a study-trip for in a few simple steps by first selecting the school location, then the courses, accommodation options and auxiliary services provided.
From an agent’s perspective, the new website is an interactive extension of their look-book. It plays the role of an agent manual, as it includes information about the main BELS operations and products offered for each: (1) the two adult centres in Malta and Gozo, (2) BELS Junior Programmes, (3) BELS Online School.
The website highlights two new important features, the school videos and student testimonials. The school firmly believes that their students are their best brand ambassadors. When contacted, Isabella Conti, the schools Sales Manager, said “Our marketing team had just been working on the development of our website when COVID-19 hit us. We quickly needed to take a decision whether we would continue with the project and its massive financial investment or shelve it. Of course, we proceeded!”
On another note, the Maltese Islands have less than 150 live cases of COVID and have had a low number of 7 deaths. WHO have referenced the proactive approach adapted by the Maltese health authorities as a model strategy. The Maltese government has been easing lock-down restrictions over the past weeks, by opening non-essential shops such as shopping malls, hairdressers and also restaurants.
Malta is now eagerly awaiting for the re-opening of the airport. Julia Farrugia, the Minister for Tourism is in talks with the EU regarding opening a travel bubble with safe corridors, thus only for EU states and Switzerland. FELTOM, the local association, has already put forward a list of recommendations.
