The Essential English Centre team are ready to put Manchester back on the map for ELT and will be opening again for face to face teaching from Monday 7th September. The school owners (Jo Wilde and Bairbre Walsh), who both run the vibrant city-centre school with their team in Manchester have commented "The Essential English Centre has always operated as a small school, with approximately 40-50 students at any one time during the Autumn/Winter seasons. We are expecting this to be lower for 2020 with student numbers of 15-30, meaning we are confident we can optimise the safety measures for staff and students and still deliver enjoyable and rewarding lessons. We are also really pleased that we have bookings secured for September and beyond meaning that after a very challenging period for the school, we can soon return to a 'new normal'!"
For any student who travels to learn English, the social and cultural experience is a hugely important part of the experience. The city of Manchester has mostly re-opened and has made lots of changes to allow bars, restaurants and other businesses to operate safely, including closing roads to allow more outside space and investing in cycle lanes for safer cycling.
We are really looking forward to welcoming students to our school again and encourage students and Educational Tour Operators to get in touch with us to learn more about how we are going to operate!
