VGC International College one of the first schools to be approved by the government to accept students in Canada again

VGC International College is very pleased to announce that their school is approved for the updated DLI list first released by the government on October 20th.

This means that students who already have a study permit or want to join one of the school's programs where attendance is deemed as essential to achieving learning outcomes may apply at VGC.
Please note: study permits are not applicable to online studies and short term courses.

Amended travel restrictions took effect on October 20, allowing international students to enter Canada if their designated learning institution (DLI) has an approved COVID-19 readiness plan in place. This applies for all programs that are longer than six months in duration.

VGC looks forward to welcoming students back on campus once they complete their 14-day quarantine period. The school has coordinated a variety of different accommodation options which will ensure all students arriving in Vancouver are able to quarantine safely. This includes homestay accommodation as well as hotel options in Vancouver. While in quarantine, the students will still be able to study through VGC Virtual classes.

VGC International College offers a variety of immersion ESL programs such as Global English, IELTS Preparation and University Preparation programs. They also offer long-term Business programs in their School of International Business.

It is important to know that as part of the school's Readiness Plan, VGC closely monitors all of their students and will continue to do so throughout the pandemic. Their student’s health and well-being will always be a priority!.
