VGC offers tuition fee payment plans for students in Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Mexico

VGC International College is delighted to announce that it has partnered with NexPay to offer tuition fee payment plans to students from Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Mexico.

Effective immediately, students from these counties can enjoy the flexibility of paying for their tuition fees in manageable installments by using NexPay, a globally-recognized and trusted name in cross-border education payments.

VGC Executive Director Dominic Walton expressed enthusiasm about this partnership, “This is a fantastic development for our students, especially considering the recent announcement by the Canadian government regarding the increased minimum fund requirement for study permit applications. By using NexPay, our students now have the opportunity to create a customized payment plan that aligns with their budget and financial requirement, and more importantly, meet the threshold set by the Ministry of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).”

In December 2023, the IRCC raised the required available funds for international students planning to study in Canada to $20,635, in addition to covering their tuition and accompanying family members’ fees. The new amount represents more than double than the previous requirement of $10,000 which had been in place since the early 2000s.

The process of paying for VGC’s tuition fees through NexPay is transparent, hassle-free and secure. As soon as they have their invoice, students can simply visit VGC’s payment page, choose NexPay as payment provider, fill in the information required and select the preferred payment scheme (for qualified students).
