This is certainly a time of exceptional crisis for all of us in the language industry. The Coronavirus pandemic has led to difficulties in student travel, school closures and a general level of uncertainty towards the future. It is, however, great to see the industry coming together to provide forums for agents and schools alike to begin working on industry wide solutions to current issues.
To allow Atlantic Language Galway and Dublin students continue their learning journey, the school has launched Atlantic Online. This online learning platform will be accessible to all of their students from Elementary to Advanced during the school closure. Atlantic Online is a fully functioning virtual classroom with live video classes and full interactivity.
The school is currently maintaining a timetable that the students have become used to with live online teaching sessions in both the morning and afternoon.
The school was adamant that maintaining the "Live Class" was an essential component to the new service. "We wanted our students to experience this new teaching format with the teachers and lesson plans they have come to expect" John Daly, School Director.
Atlantic Online launched on Wednesday 18th of March 2020 and is already proving to be a big hit with the students who have availed of the service so far.
