Monday November 16th saw the beginning of CEC's inaugural Cambridge CELTA Teacher Training course. For the first time ever, CEC is proud to be training & developing some of the latest generation of EFL teachers. In keeping with the new normal, this CELTA course is 100% online with all training, feedback sessions and even teaching practice classes taking place over Zoom reflecting not only the world we now live in but also the adaptability of our Academic team.
The CEC CELTA trainees of 2020 come from all over Ireland & beyond highlighting the draw of a CELTA certification & also the accessibility an online version offers to anyone in the world. Moreover the Cambridge CELTA is of course an internationally recognised & respected, externally accredited EFL qualification and a passport to teaching anywhere in the world.
Commenting on the launch of our first CELTA, Academic Manager Fiona Gomez had this to say “we are delighted to have kicked off our first ever CELTA course. The trainees and trainers are enjoying the experience and everything has been great so far. We are excited to watch how the trainees grow into teachers over the next 5 weeks.”
For 2021 we will be running intensive & part time CELTA courses both online and in person, with the first course of 2021 taking place from January 11th to February 13th. Applications for which are now open!
