Cork English College are offering the ultimate immersive experience this Summer with their variety of homestay options for young learners.

Students can enjoy a truly Irish experience with CEC's local host families in either their Host Family Centre or on their Young Adult Programmes.

A host family experience with CEC offers students a rich cultural experience that extends beyond classroom walls. It’s an opportunity to dive deep into Ireland’s customs, traditions, and lifestyle, creating memories that last a lifetime. From sharing hearty home-cooked meals to celebrating Irish festivals, students get a genuine taste of Irish life.

All host families are recruited, vetted & inspected by CEC's in-house host family team, meaning partners, parents and students can have trust in the quality of the programmes and delivery.

For Summer 2025, CEC are now offering individual places in their Host Family Centre from June 29th, with students aged from 11-17 able to choose from English + Multi-Activity, Golf, Rugby with Munster Rugby, Football with Valencia C.F., Horse-Riding, & STEAM!

For students aged between 16-19, places are still available for CEC's Young Adult Programmes. Choose between General English or Cambridge Preparation (FCE/CAE). The Young Adult Programme is ideal for learners looking for a more independent experience this Summer. CEC offers mixed international classes, activities & exam preparation specifically for students aged between 16-19, on a full board basis in local host families.
