GESE Speaking Exam included free of charge on all General English Courses at Millfield

As 2022 draws to a close, Millfield English Language Holiday Course is reflecting on a fantastic summer where they welcomed over 420 students from 35 countries. The school also launched some new and exciting activities such as Outdoor Adventurers, Stage and Special Effects Make-Up and our popular English Workshops. Looking ahead to 2023, a significant addition is the introduction of the GESE exam.

As well as improving their English, making new friends and having fun, they understand the importance of students leaving the school at the end of their course with an official certificate. With that in mind, all students who join General English courses next summer, will have the opportunity to take the Trinity College London speaking exam (GESE). GESE is an internationally recognised qualification and classes will focus on GESE topics along with the development of grammar and functional language skills. The exam is available at 12 different levels and is 1-1 with a Trinity examiner. Mock exams will be scheduled to ensure students are as prepared as possible. Whilst the exam is included in the price of the course, it is not compulsory. Students who decide not to take the exam, will still receive a Millfield certificate, which confirms the level of the course they have completed.

In 2023 all Millfield English Language Holiday Courses will run at their Street campus and will be available to students aged 12-17. For more information on our summer courses 2023 visit their website.
