LILA* Liverpool has signed a partnership agreement with David Game College, one of the UK’s most prestigious private Sixth Form Colleges. The partnership will see LILA* delivering a range of A Levels and University Foundation Programmes to local and international students from September 2022.
Established in 1974, David Game College has become one of the leading independent sixth form colleges in London. In May 2017 and February 2020, David Game College was graded as ‘Outstanding’ in all five categories by Ofsted. Business Development Director, Niel Pama said “David Game College offers a dynamic educational experience, providing students with the opportunity to learn and to develop new talents and skills. On average we send 70% of students to Russell Group Universities; the partnership with LILA* Liverpool provides us with an exciting opportunity to extend this provision.”
The partnership compliments LILA*’s existing collaboration with Steven Gerrard Academy and will provide students with a range of opportunities to pursue degrees and careers in the booming Sports and Football industry, worldwide. David MacDiarmid, Director at Steven Gerrard Academy said, “we are thrilled that LILA* have partnered up with David Game College and are looking forward to offering A Level programmes to our international students.”
LILA* Liverpool established their Sixth Form College as a compliment to the existing English Language school, several years ago, but had to delay their first cohort of students due to the massive impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. “Partnering with David Game College will enable us to go to market with 47 years of experience and expertise behind us. That, combined with the dynamic, can-do attitude of the LILA* team, our beautiful city centre school and Steven Gerrard Academy brand-reach, makes for an exciting collaboration and perfect student experience” said Leanne Linacre, Director of LILA* Liverpool.
