A warm welcome to Kathi Gerth

A big hello to all you lovely people!

My name is Kathi and I have recently joined Quality English as Marketing Assistant and am very excited to take on this new challenge. After having worked in senior positions in the Marketing and Operations departments of one of the largest independent language schools in Dublin for nearly six years, I was keen to learn something new but I was sure that I wanted to stay in the international education industry. 

I had regularly come across Quality English on industry events and have always been curious about what they are doing and how they interact between schools and agents. After having been working with them for a few weeks now, I can already say that it is impressive how many missions, partnerships and projects this small team handles and how much energy and wonderful ideas they have!

In my new role, I will mainly focus on product advancement and process development and will also support the network of Associate Schools which is an area that we hope to grow further. In addition, I will look after the QE/QED Brand Champions, as well as managing independent QE/QED projects.

With a background in education and many years’ experience in working with schools, agents and students, I understand the needs and requirements of all parties involved. Having studied, lived and worked abroad myself for many years, I can very much relate to what it means to learn a new language, build new friendships and settle into a new life! 

I am a strong advocate of internationalisation and look very much forward to bringing new ideas and improved processes to Quality English and being part of taking the QE/QED brand to the next level!
