On 27th January, QE hosted a special event in partnership with the Japanese Association of Overseas Studies (JAOS). In total, 25 QE schools had offered scholarships to local teachers, with the purpose of the ceremony in Tokyo being to present the lucky recipients with their certificates.
With the help of JAOS members, Ryugaku Journal and ECC, the scholarship winners were partnered with a suitable QE school and will have the opportunity to travel to the school for a 2-week English Language course later this year.
QE Chief Executive, Jonathan Swindell, commented: "The ceremony in Tokyo was a wonderful event as it allowed us to bring together our very generous schools with the scholarship winners. We hope that the teachers will form long and lasting bonds with the QE schools where they will study".
The following day was a traditional QE Agent Workshop with 17 Quality English and Quality Education schools meeting with 35 agents from 26 Japanese agencies.
