The programme will be run through JAOS agents and follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two associations earlier this year.
President of JAOS (JAOS) , Yasuo Sone , said, “It is my privilege as the President of JAOS to work closely with Quality English moving forward. Working with such a trusted partner, we are confident in our shared future. Through our cooperation together, I am excited to see what we can achieve.”
The initiative seeks to increase awareness of the Quality English brand across Japan, confirmed Chief Executive Jonathan Swindell , as well as build relationships between mutual member agencies and schools.
A total of 25 QE schools have agreed to offer English language tuition and accommodation to teachers in Japan, with recipients being selected through a rigorous application process. The project will culminate in a presentation ceremony, followed by an agent workshop for QE schools in Tokyo in January 2019.
“We are delighted to be working with JAOS on this project which we believe will raise awareness, across Japan, of the benefits of choosing a Quality English school to take an English language course," said Jonathan. "As one of the most proactive and collaborative agent associations in the world, we feel privileged to be working with JAOS. At the same time, we are extremely grateful to the QE schools who are generously offering these scholarships and who are looking forward to welcoming the scholarship winners to their schools in 2019.”
