Quality English and Quality Education, along with 18 QE Licensed schools, recently travelled to Muscat, Oman to meet with local government staff and agents and to find out more about the region.
The schools in attendance were from the UK, Ireland, Malta and New Zealand and this was the first ever QE event in Oman. The event was run in partnership with local agent and consultancy firm, Gulf English. Local delegates included representatives from the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Education, local school staff and agents.
Speaking about why QE decided to run an event in Oman, QE Chief Executive, Jonathan Swindell said:
“I visited Oman for the first time in early 2017 and was blown away by the friendliness of the people and the beauty of the country. Several QE schools have been doing business in Oman for a number of years, but for many others it is a new market. Therefore, we decided to pool our knowledge and travel to Oman together to introduce our schools and what Quality English stands for. It was a hugely successful visit and we look forward to returning and further strengthening our partnerships. Many thanks to Gulf English Education for their support and market intelligence.”
Managing Director of Gulf English Education, Andy Buckland, added:
“We were delighted to have the opportunity to work with Quality English and to welcome a large group of QE schools to Oman. QE schools are well suited to the Oman market with their strong focus on customer service and excellent teaching. We look forward to the next QE/GE event in Oman!”
