Malvern College has recently been welcomed as the latest Quality Education (QED) College. QED is part of Quality English and is for colleges offering academic and vocational courses (as well as EFL courses) in English to international students. Malvern College, an historic English independent school with over 150 years of history, is located in Worcestershire in central England.
The College offers year-round courses from preparatory ages through to sixth form, as well as a variety of summer courses.
Speaking about why Malvern College applied to join QE, Marketing co-ordinator, Camilla King commented:
"We were delighted to become a QE Accredited School at the end of Summer 2023. Accreditation that recognises and validates the calibre of Summer School that Malvern College offers is clearly important, and QE’s recognised status and experience in this area offers us just that. From inspecting our highly qualified teachers, to ensuring that students are fully engaged and thoroughly enjoying the course content, it is affirming to have the seal of approval from QE. We are very much looking forward to meeting and developing our Agent Partnerships at QE’s various missions, starting with Madrid at the end of November. 2024 is already looking very exciting for Malvern College Summer School."
QE Chief Executive, Jonathan Swindell added:
“Malvern College expressed an interest in becoming a Quality Education College some time ago and I was pleased to have the opportunity to visit when their summer school was in full operation this summer. The grounds are spectacular and befitting of a traditional English independent school with a top-class facilities and accommodation. Their academic standards are extremely high and there is a strong bond amongst the staff who all believe in doing things “the Malvern way”. We look forward to working closely with Camilla and her team for many years to come.”
