Quality English (QE) has recently welcomed two new schools, namely, English Encounters (Canada) and TIS Torquay (UK).
TIS Torquay has been in operation for nearly 50 years and is situated in a historic building just minutes from Torquay town centre. The school offers a flexible General English course with a choice of hours per week, Courses for the Over 30s and Over 50s and a choice of Business and Professional English courses. Their Family Courses run all year round and welcome parents with children from 6 to 15, whilst their Young Learners Academy caters for students aged 14 to 17.
Speaking about TIS, QE Chief Executive, Jonathan Swindell, commented:
“We are thrilled that TIS Torquay has re-joined QE and we warmly welcome Kevin and his team back into the QE family. The school has an excellent reputation and offers something quite different to many other QE schools. We very much look forward to working with the team at TIS in these exciting times for the industry.”
Kevin McNally, Owner and Director of TIS Torquay added:
“I am delighted that Torquay International School has been accepted into Quality English. Jonathan and his team do a great job for QE members, and we at TIS will work to make a positive contribution. Our being part of Quality English will give us an extra channel through which we will promote the courses and services provided by Torquay International School and we look forward to seeing our existing and new clients at the various events.”
English Encounters was founded in 1996 and is located in Burlington which is a leafy suburb of Toronto on the shores of Lake Ontario. Accredited by Languages Canada, the school offers a wide range of courses with small class sizes in a warm and friendly learning environment.
Speaking about English Encounters, QE Chief Executive, Jonathan Swindell, commented:
“I visited the school earlier this year and was very impressed by Felix Woehler (Owner and Director) and the professionalism of his staff. The school is compact and ideal for those looking for a calm and relaxed atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of Toronto, whilst in easy access of the city itself. Burlington is a charming town with a wide range of attractions and activities for all tastes.”
Commenting on why they applied to join QE, Felix stated:
“Becoming a Quality English School is a testament to our commitment to providing high-quality language education and we are please to have been accepted. Being a Quality English School requires meeting strict quality standards and adhering to these standards helps ensure that we keep providing students with the best possible learning experience. Quality English is a well-established network of agents and independent language schools that are recognized worldwide. By becoming a member of this network we are gaining exposure to a global audience and potentially attract more international students."
