As a Premium Preparation Provider for OET courses, CELT works closely with various UK-based hospitals to provide OET training to their medical staff. The school is delighted to have gained the trust of the Royal Papworth Hospital, in Cambridge, a specialist heart and lung hospital in the UK to provide OET courses to nurses.
“At Royal Papworth Hospital we are dedicated in supporting our staff to grow and develop. Earlier this year we were lucky enough to receive funding from HEE to support our existing staff who are registered nurses overseas in gaining the English language qualifications required to pursue gaining their UK nurse registration. These staff are highly valued members of the Royal Papworth family, and are currently working in vital un-registered roles throughout the hospital.
Working with CELT has allowed us to offer quality English language tuition to these staff, tailored to their individual needs. Studying during the pandemic has had additional challenges, and CELT has guided us through these offering support and flexibility with a variety of modes of teaching and support. Whilst it is too soon to see the results of the programme, we hope we are giving our staff the best possible chance of success in pursuing careers as registered nurses in the UK.”
