The Lewis School of English in Southampton is partnering with two local residences to offer a greater choice of accommodation for its adult students in summer.
Both residences offer excellent facilities and are conveniently located right in the city centre, within a 10-minute walk of Lewis School, so will be ideal for the more independent student. Rooms are available between 11 July and the end of August.
Austen House is notable for its impressive range of social spaces – nine in total! These include a common room with table tennis and pool table, a cinema room with comfy seats, a gaming room with 8 screens and gaming chairs, a music room, an art studio, a reading room, a dining room and two study rooms.
Crescent House is similarly modern, with its own gym, as well as a common room, study rooms and a TV lounge.
Bedrooms in both residences are stylishly decorated and each room has an en-suite bathroom, a double bed and hi-speed Wi-Fi for extra convenience. There is a flat configuration with 4-6 students sharing a modern lounge-diner with kitchen appliances, dining table and chairs, plus a sofa and TV. Laundry facilities are provided on site.
Being in the city centre means that is always plenty to do nearby, from the hugely popular WestQuay Shopping Centre to Watermark, with its cinema and bowling alley. A rich variety of restaurants, pubs and nightlife venues caters to all different tastes and especially to Southampton’s large student population.
These residential options offer an ideal alternative to the school’s popular homestay provision. For more information, please contact the Lewis School of English or visit their website.
