Student returning to Millfield English Language Holiday Course three times in a row

Former Millfield English Language Holiday Course student Toghrul loved Millfield so much that he returned three years in a row (2016-2019).

Toghrul took some time to reflect on his experiences and said ‘My first Millfield trip was back in 2016. It was a spontaneous yet one of the best decisions that my family made. It was also my first time visiting the UK, so I was very excited and curious to explore.’

‘From the first couple of days, I absolutely loved this place. I was particularly surprised by how good the sports facilities and disciplines at Millfield were. I felt like those 3-4 hours of sports every weekday was an amazing addition to our schedule, which makes Millfield stand out among hundreds of prestigious language holiday courses in the UK. However, that was not what made me want to come back to Millfield repeatedly.’

‘After my first time at Millfield, I met many interesting people whom I keep in touch with up to this day. That amiable environment was exactly the reason why I decided to come back next year, and I never regretted it!’

‘By the 3rd summer in a row that I spent at Millfield, my English level and experience with the school were enough to apply for the mentorship program offered by MELHC. I gained a lot of crucial experience by mentoring in 2018 and 2019 and, hopefully, made a great addition to the experience of other students at Millfield.’
