Yuko Usui - Japan"At CCEL, I had a really great time. It was enjoyable but also really important for me. At CCEL I felt comfortable speaking my mind. Everybody was given the opportunity to give their opinions. In class, I was able to learn English fluently because I practiced lots of speaking and listening, not just grammar and vocabulary. Also, could make friends with international students from other countries. Actually, I wanted to stay longer!"
Adriana Blandon Rojas - Colombia"When I came to Christchurch I was very scared because I did not understand and could not speak any English. I am 46 years old and I felt insecure…Gradually I've been learning a lot about the Kiwi culture. Originally I did not understand how many cultures are combined together and manage to live in peace and with respect. It has been amazing to witness this wonderful experience… I felt very fortunate to study at CCEL, because of it is high academic quality and the human quality of its managers and teachers. It is a place where you feel valued and heard. When I decided to come to Christchurch I knew my life would change. Living here has helped me grow and mature."
