Millfield Summer Camp
Millfield Summer Camp, located in the beautiful Somerset country in the Southwest of England, offers a residential programme across two campuses: Millfield Senior School in Street (ages 12-16) and Millfield Prep School in Glastonbury (ages 8-11). Our top priority is the wellbeing of children and young people, creating an environment where they can discover their brilliance while experiencing everything Millfield has to offer.
Camp Options (15 hours per week)
Street Campus (2, 4, or 6 weeks)
Young people on our Street Campus get to choose from four options in 2, 4 or 6 weeks blocks:
English
This option provides engaging, ability-based learning in small groups (up to 14). Activities include discussions and project work that promote global understanding and self-awareness. Participants also explore different subjects such as literature, media, history, and science with some sessions being taught by Millfield Subject Specialists.
Creative Arts
Participants explore various art forms, including drawing, painting, and design, through engaging projects. With personalised support, they build confidence and develop their unique style.
Multi-Sports
This option allows participants to try different sporting disciplines, such as tennis, golf, football and more, while enhancing their skills. Expert Millfield Coaches provide tailored support to help everyone progress, fostering teamwork and resilience.
Outdoor Adventurers (additional charge of 400 GBP)
Participants learn outdoor skills through exciting activities, including climbing, cave exploration, and orienteering. They also gain practical survival skills like outdoor cooking and shelter building.
Glastonbury Campus (2 or 4 weeks)
Curious Explorers
This programme provides engaging and tailored learning experiences in small groups (maximum of 12), covering topics like History, Geography, STEM, and Creative Writing. Children will present their work at the end of the camp and receive a certificate along with a personalised report.

Activity Programme
The Millfield Brilliance Activity Programme gives participants the opportunity to join in on a wide range of creative and sporting activities, using our outstanding facilities to the fullest. This programme encourages personal development and the discovery of new interests by following Millfield’s values. Additionally, participants will be able to choose from a range of clubs whilst at Millfield.
Social Programme
The camp fees include a comprehensive social programme, encouraging participants from various countries come together, make lifelong friendships, and enjoy a variety of exciting activities in a welcoming and safe environment. This includes:
Excursions
Participants enjoy one full-day and one half-day excursion every week. A careful balance of active, historical, fun, experiential and educational excursions are provided. They are accompanied by Millfield staff who provide help and guidance.
Evening Events
An impressive programme of evening activities provides the fun that delivers the true ‘Millfield Experience’. These include, House Events, Talent Shows, Multi-campus Events and lots more.
Facilities
As Millfield School is the largest independent cohort boarding school in Europe, both campuses feature modern top-class facilities, including swimming pools, a golf course, tennis centres, and lots more.
Health, Welfare, Accommodation & Food
We ensure 24-hour supervision and a strong sense of community. Our highly trained staff prioritise safeguarding and wellbeing. Both campuses offer full-board accommodation with nutritious meals catering to dietary needs, providing a safe and supportive environment for all participants. Additionally, we have wellbeing activities to ensure our attendees have a balanced experience and can stay connected with family and friends back home.
