IH Torquay is known for attracting a more mature clientele, and the average age of students in our 30+ classes is 52.
We opened our Young Learner Academy 4 years ago and it is proving a great success, with year-round provision for groups as well as individuals in the summer. In summer 2025, we are very excited to be opening an exclusive junior centre at South Devon University in Paignton. This will give learners a flavour of life at a bustling higher education institution that we hope will inspire them to consider exciting new opportunities for studying abroad when they are older.
Last year, we welcomed students from 35 countries. At IH Torquay, learning and customer service are at the centre of everything we do. Students have the perfect environment to improve their English, develop their interests and make new friends.
